Sunblind Motor Driver Application ExampleThe Prolon PSD2060 Sunblind Motor Driver can be used in a number of different applications. The interface is designed for usage both in simple systems where the sunblind is controlled by manual switches only, and in more complex systems including sunblind controllers with advanced algorithms for controlling the sunblind. To operate, the sunblind driver requires only network variable inputs. In a simple system a node including a SNVT_switch output should be used for controlling the sunblind. The switch output could come from a node implementing a sensor object in accordance with the LONMARK Functional Profile document: "SWITCH 3200-10 ©1997, LONMARK Interoperability Association". The switch sensor object is used without feedback option. Each individual actuator object in the Prolon PSD2060 Sunblind Motor Driver can be controlled; either by one switch object implementing both open and close functionality, or by two switch sensor objects where one control the open function and the other controls the close. The following binding example show a single switch object configuration. Using a single switch sensor variableIf a single switch sensor object is used for control the object will control the sunblind by sending the following signals.
The switch sensor object can be implemented in a node either by one pushbutton with some application logic that can change direction and control the on/off signaling, or by two pushbuttons sharing a single sensor object. None of these two ways of using the switch sensor object are strictly in accordance with the LonMark functional profile, therefore another way of controlling the sunblind is provided through a second switch object.
